Delete my data

You can delete everything Budgy holds about you yourself, in about a minute. No request, no waiting.

Delete your account

• Open Budgy, then More > Me > Account > Delete account.
• This removes your account and everything you shared with a household, immediately and permanently.
• If you never created an account, there is nothing on our servers to delete: your data only exists on your phone.

Leave or delete a household

• More > Household > Leave this household withdraws everything you shared; it disappears for the others and its stored content is erased.
• The person who started the household can remove a member, or delete the household for everyone.
• Deleting your account leaves your households first.

Delete the data on your phone

• More > Me > Backup & privacy > Erase everything on this phone. This also removes the earlier backups kept on the phone.
• Or simply uninstall Budgy: its data goes with it.

Can't open the app any more?

Email budgy.support@gmail.com from the address you signed in with (or tell us which Apple or Google account it was) and ask us to delete your data. We confirm and delete within one month, normally much sooner.

Apple and Google sign-in

Signing in with Apple or Google is handled by them. To disconnect Budgy from your Apple ID, use Settings > your name > Sign in with Apple. For Google, use your Google Account > Security > Your connections to third-party apps.
